Idaho Premier Anglers offers fishing trips that are perfect for anglers of any level.

With us, you’ll be casting in popular spots throughout the Clearwater River from Lewiston to Orofino, Kooskia, and more. Now that you’ve booked your upcoming trip, you may be wondering what to pack for your day on the boat.

What We Provide

Your guide will provide you with high-quality fishing rods, bait and tackle, and a hot lunch with water and sodas. Feel free to bring a medium-size cooler if you have a specific beverage (beer, etc.) other than what is provided that you would like to enjoy during your day. Your cooler can also be used to transport your fish home.

What to Pack

  • An Idaho fishing license with the appropriate fisheries. Don’t forget to get a Steelhead card when purchasing your Idaho fishing license.
  • Warm, water-resistant clothing (Dressing in layers is highly recommended so they can be easily removed if temperatures warm up.)
  • Warm shoes
  • Warm hat or beanie
  • Warm gloves
  • Sunglasses (polarized sunglasses are great for eliminating glare and allowing you to see into water)
  • Camera – because if there isn’t a picture, it didn’t happen!

*Our guides have propane heaters on their boats to keep you as comfortable as possible. However, it’s important to plan for a chilly day out on the water.
